Meeting us...
The club meets every Wednesday at the Mile End Wall to train and socialize - staff
at the reception desk at Mile End know many NLMC members and will be happy to
point us out to you. Rachel Stacey, Membership Secretary is at Mile End most Wednesdays. There is a Map showing you how to get the Mile End Wall.
After climbing sessions on Wednesdays the club retires to the Palm Tree, a pub
about two minutes away from the wall in Mile End Park. Once again, the NLMC is well known there, and the staff will point you in our direction. Print outs of our application forms are also available there.
We also meet regularly at the Westway and the Castle on a more informal basis - contact Rachel for details.
You are welcome to try the club out at any of our formal social events - check our
meets list and email (Mikki or Rachel). Additionally, groups of members go away almost every weekend to climb all over the country. These trips are arranged informally at the club's sessions on Monday or Wednesday and are an excellent way of finding out more about the club.
You will need two members' signatures on your application form - there will be plenty of people at Mile End, the Westway or the Castle willing to sign your form.
